“Stadthaus am Markt” (or “Municipal House at the Market”) is embedded in the heart of the new Frankfurt old town. The centrepiece of this modern municipal centre is the “Golden Hall”, which seemingly hovers above the archaeological remains of the ancient “Kaiserpfalz”, a former imperial palace dating back to the ninth century. This unique hall, equipped with state-of-the-art audio and video technology, offers floor space for events of up to 150 persons. Directly adjacent, there’s a spacious foyer, which may be used for receptions, exhibitions, catering and more. Further function rooms are situated on the second floor. The entire building is barrier-free and disposes over a modern, energy-efficient air-conditioning system, with WiFi being available throughout all event areas.
