Thursday, 23 January, 7 pm, the series of Winter Concerts 2024/25 ends with a concerto for cello and piano. The guests at the Kirche am Campus Bockenheim, Jügelstr. 1, 60325 Frankfurt will be cellist Mengyuan Zhang, who will be accompanied on the piano by pianist Elvira Streva. The two students of the Frankfurt University of Music met during their studies as Master students at the Frankfurt University of Music and formed a permanent duo. Their repertoire is focussed on the 20th century.
The programme includes works such as two of the best-known sonatas for cello and piano by Sergei Prokofiev and Claude Debussy.
