Company Profile
The Frankfurt Tourist+Congress Board (TCF) is the official marketing company of the City of Frankfurt am Main for the business sectors of tourism, congresses and conferences. It is also the chief organiser of the city’s folk fairs and fun festivals.
The sole shareholder of TCF is the City of Frankfurt am Main. The bodies of the company are the shareholders' meeting (the municipal council of the City of Frankfurt am Main), the Supervisory Board and the Managing Director.
TCF's expenditure budget in 2025 amounts to around € 15.4 million. The self-financing will amount to approx. 35%. The planned revenue of around € 5.34 million is mainly generated by Frankfurt Services and public festivals/events.
Around one third of the funds required to market the city will therefore be generated from the company's own revenues. In addition, TCF is dependent on financing from its shareholder, the City of Frankfurt am Main, in order to achieve its corporate goals.
For 2025, TCF will receive regular city funding of € 2.94 million as well as € 6.984 million from the tourism contribution.
TCF holds 20% of the share capital of Frankfurt Ticket RheinMain GmbH, which was transferred to TCF by the shareholder, the City of Frankfurt am Main, in 2011.
As at 30.06.2024, a total of 64 employees and an additional 17 temporary student workers and mini-jobbers were employed. The total headcount corresponds to 65.91 full-time equivalents. TCF also works with freelance employees, which currently includes 79 tour guides who look after guests in 18 languages.
