An evening of songs about the present: actor Morad Badrah, who fled the war in Syria, tells his life story in short scenes. In between, the Ukrainian star mezzo-soprano and Amnesty ambassador Christina Daletska performs songs by Ukrainian and European composers. Many of the contemporary works were composed for her and dedicated to her. The song texts fit in with the actor's stories and emphasize the themes of war and peace, life and death, marriage and farewell.
All proceeds from this Naxos Hall concert will go to humanitarian aid for Ukraine 🇺🇦
