Weekly market and open-air food court in one: regional products and freshly prepared specialties from Hesse are available on the "Konstablerwache" square.
The region's fresh harvest is laid out directly on the Zeil, Frankfurt's largest shopping street, every Thursday and Saturday. The producers' market has been held on the large square and traffic junction "Konstablerwache", affectionately known in Frankfurt as "Konsti", for more than 30 years. In many Frankfurt households, the market is a permanent fixture in the weekly shopping schedule: There are more than 50 stalls selling fruit and vegetables, sausage and baked goods, honey, flowers and local wine.
And if you get hungry at the sight of all the fresh produce, you can also try it on the spot: From mushroom dishes prepared on site to organic sausages, homemade Handkäs and other Hessian originals – thanks to the snacks between the market stalls, the producers' market has become a real favorite meeting place when the weather is nice.
