Fruit & Co is available twice a week in front of Südbahnhof - and even homemade pasta on Tuesdays.
There's plenty of fresh produce on Tuesdays and Fridays on Diesterwegplatz in front of Frankfurt's Südbahnhof: fresh fruit, vegetables & Co are sold at a dozen or so stalls at the weekly market. The market is particularly popular with commuters, who come here in the morning for a sandwich or to buy ingredients for dinner on their way home in the evening. On Tuesdays, "Kalena Pasta" even serves its handmade pasta warm and with a selection of sauces; we also recommend the arancini – deep-fried rice balls filled with ragù or spinach and ricotta, for example.
