This gallery in the Kleinmarkthalle doesn't just show you photographic or illustrative art. You can also experience the art of the Hessian cellar masters at cider tastings here.
Martin Schitto worked as an art director and photographer in the advertising industry for a long time. Until a store became vacant in the Kleinmarkthalle in 2019 and he applied there with an unusual concept: In addition to photographs, illustrations, caricatures and other works of art, he also exhibits the art of Hessian cellar masters here.
You can sample six different varieties at a cider tasting, which is available here at any time. Or you can simply choose one of the ciders from the glass refrigerator and stroll through the exhibition with your "Stöffche" in hand.
With this special type of gallery, Schitto wants to make art more accessible; he offers it here for every budget. Photo prints of non-limited editions are available from just 150 euros and you can also buy some of the artworks shown in the changing exhibitions as postcards.
