Coffee, cake, quiche & Co are available here in a special setting: in the cozy vaults of the stately villa or in the secluded inner courtyard.
If you fancy a break in the greenery, a cup of coffee and a good piece of cake in one go, then we recommend a visit to the café at the Liebieghaus Museum. The garden of the sculpture house is considered one of the most beautiful in the city; a wealthy textile manufacturer named Baron Heinrich von Liebieg had it laid out together with the palatial villa. The villa in particular, but also the garden, is now home to the city's collection of around 3,000 sculptures dating back over 5,000 years. And so you can sit in the villa's café either inside the Villa Liebieg in a cozy coffee house atmosphere or outside among the greenery and art.
In addition to coffee and cake, the café also offers a delicious breakfast as well as a changing selection of quiches, salads, shakshuka and other snacks. What you shouldn't miss afterwards is a stroll through the impressive sculpture collection!
