Exquisite specialty coffee plays the leading role here. Also part of the ensemble: cool, minimalist design and special brewing methods.
Light concrete walls, clean, minimalist interior with black furniture: the three coffee bars on the first floor of a 1950s building in Frankfurt's Fahrgasse are very cool. The focus here is on excellent specialty coffee, with owners Stephan and Romy Ebel sourcing a wide range of varieties from roasteries all over Europe and selling them and accessories on site and in their own online store.
There is a branch in the Bahnhofsviertel, the "einszwei" at Gutleutstraße 14, where the brown cult drink comes from a Modbar – a coffee machine under the counter where the coffee flows through two taps. Or you can order your coffee hand-poured from the filter. Either way: a pleasure!
