Urban, chic, casual and very popular: the hotel restaurant in the Westend is the flagship of the successful Elaine's World gastronomy group.
Two friends are behind Elaine's World, a gastronomic cosmos that now includes seven locations in Frankfurt. Whether it's a deli, bar or Elaine's Restaurant in The Flag West M hotel in the Westend district, the two founders Luel Mulugeta and Guy L. Lamaye are always in tune with the zeitgeist and the tastes of the public. The menu in the restaurant features modern fusion cuisine with lots of vegetables and even more sophistication, not exclusively meat-free, but vegetarians and vegans will find plenty of good options here.
In the bright, spacious living room, you can sit under cloud lamps, or on the terrace in the inner courtyard in fine weather. For a more intimate setting, book room 309 for a maximum of six guests at the round marble table, where heavy velvet curtains can even be drawn in front of the mirrored windows. The rooftop area is airy, casual and chic with excellent drinks, where dancing is also allowed.
And who is Elaine anyway? The picture of the lady with a bun and large, round glasses shows the New York artist Elaine Sturtevant. The first café that Mulugeta and Lamaye took over in the Taunus Tower was named after her. They kept the name and built their own world on it.
