Perfect for a business lunch or a special menu in the evening: Stamatios and Christos Simiakis offer "Modern European Cuisine" in Frankfurt's Old Town.

Two brothers and three ladies stand for the Medici in Frankfurt's Old Town: The brothers are called Stamatios and Christos Simiakos and opened the Medici restaurant in Weißadlergasse in 2004 – as the culmination of their journey through top German gastronomy, so to speak. The two were born in Gummersbach and have already cooked for Alfons Schuhbeck, Hans Peter Wodarz and Eckhard Witzigmann. They call their concept in Frankfurt "Modern European Cuisine" and have earned themselves a firm place in the city's fine dining scene.
The menu changes frequently, sometimes even every two days, and even daily for business lunches. If you like fish and Mediterranean cuisine, you've come to the right place, but the Medici is also always up for a surprise. And the three ladies? They are the three naked and world-famous Graces that Maria de' Medici once commissioned from Peter Paul Rubens. The large mural in the restaurant used to be a stage set and now blends in perfectly with the pleasantly relaxed ambience.
