Harbor park

In this park directly on the Main, you can relax, have a picnic, watch daring skater moves – or even get active yourself.  

At the foot of the European Central Park, Frankfurt has treated itself to a 40,000 square meter public park of the 21st century with the Hafenpark. Here, directly on the banks of the Main, you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city - simply doze in the sun on one of the wide wooden loungers or picnic on one of the lawns. The signs on the grass explicitly say "If you're here, sit down" instead of "No trespassing". At the same time, the harbor park is also Frankfurt's sports hotspot. In the country's largest skate park, the "Concrete Jungle", amateurs and professionals alike practise their air jumps; there is now even a second facility for children. Tuesday Night Skating also starts here every Tuesday evening at 8.30 pm between April and October. Anyone and everyone can join the ever-changing tour through Frankfurt at night. In general, the Hafenpark expressly invites you to get active yourself: On a skateboard or inline skates as well as on one of the fields for playing basketball, volleyball, badminton or soccer, on the climbing course, on the children's playgrounds or on one of the fitness machines.
