The huge, listed brick building in the east of Frankfurt is something of a get-together for the stylish automotive scene. From classic cars to sports cars, you can admire and buy extraordinary models here, as well as rent, equip and repair them.
Admission is free and there is plenty to discover: Where agricultural machinery used to be produced, a 16,000 square meter center has been created that is a showroom, event space, restaurant and business park all in one. Specialists in the industry work here in close proximity and are well networked, and even the TÜV has a location in Klassikstadt.
A particular highlight is the glass pit lane on the second floor: here you can see all kinds of shiny, polished gems from Porsche to Lamborghini and Aston Martin.
If you work up an appetite while marveling and strolling around, head to the chic "Werkskantine". Regional specialties are served here, and the Frankfurter Schnitzel comes under the heading "German original components".
