Boat Trip
Everything in flow: If you want to explore Frankfurt and the surrounding area in a relaxed way, the Main provides you with a pretty perfect route.
Do you have tired feet but want to see as much of Frankfurt as possible? Then get on board! During a one-hour cruise, you can take a relaxed look at the city's highlights from a seated position: for example, the famous skyline, the museum embankment and the imposing tower of St. Bartholomew's Cathedral. The MS Palladium river cruiser operated by Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschifffahrt (KD) departs several times a day from the pier at the Eiserner Steg. Just a few meters away, the ships of the Primus Line, which offers various trips, depart. There are tours to the Gerbermühle in the east or westwards towards Griesheim lock, which can also be combined into a longer trip. Or you can opt for a tour with certain extras, such as after-work trips with a DJ and drinks, sunset skyline trips and riverside dinners where you are served a four-course meal. And if you want to go further afield, you can sail up the Main to Seligenstadt and Aschaffenburg, past Philippsruhe Palace, the "Little Versailles of the Main" in Hanau. Combined tours by boat and bus or train are also possible on selected dates, for example via the Neckar to Heidelberg or via the Rhine with shore excursions in Rüdesheim or other towns in the Rheingau;
