Once the oldest private bank in Frankfurt was located here, today you will find a colorful mix of café, event space and much more in the historic building.
What is the Massif Central? A cultural center, say some. A creative hotspot, that's what it is. The Massif Central is located right next to the Römerberg in the Bethmannhof, which once housed Frankfurt's oldest private bank. The large "MC" letters on the sandstone façade reveal just how beautifully historical preservation and creative use can go hand in hand; inside, retro furniture and large-scale floor graffiti create a cozy vintage look.
